Jolene Sworde and Shannon Stone exchanged wedding vows on Jan. 14, 2014, at the Best Western Precious Moments in Carthage, Mo. Matt Harper officiated the ceremony amid holiday decorations and lights featuring wedding colors of purple, black, and white. Michaela Lasley provided music.

Maid of honor Jessica Kennedy and bridesmaids Penny Selby, Deena Stone, and Lisa Long attended the bride.

Ron Harp served the groom as best man. Groomsmen were Scott Stone, Dennis Stone, and Rex Long.

Hair dresser was Karesa Sworde, and photographers were Karesa and Raymond Sworde.

Parents of the bride are David D. Davis of Nevada, Mo., and Mianna C. Forrester of Hooker, Okla.

Parents of the groom are the late John J. and Jackie L. Stone of Nevada.

A reception followed at Best Western Precious Moments breakfast room.

The couple honeymooned in Carthage and currently reside in Nevada.
