Linda Lu Bales

Linda Lu Bales, 69, Nevada, passed away Sunday, March 2, 2014, at Moore-Few Care Center, in Nevada. Linda was born Dec. 29, 1944, in Cedar Falls, Iowa, to Donald Clark Chapin and Varee Loretta (McAninch) Chapin.

Linda grew up in Pharr, Texas, and graduated high school there. After high school she served in the United States Women's Army Corp from 1964--67. Linda lived nearly all her life in Texas, only living in Nevada the past two years.

Survivors include one son, Donald Bales and Teri, Nevada; one daughter, Margie Bales, Nevada; four grandchildren, Forrest, Aidan, Payton, and Triston; one brother, Dick Chapin, Killeen, Texas; one sister, Peggy DeVincentis, Corpus Christi, Texas; and several nieces, nephews and loved ones.
