Teen hurt in dirt bike accident

An El Dorado Springs teenager was injured in a dirt bike accident, in Schell City, Saturday evening.

Clifford Sumner, 18, received moderate injuries from the accident on Park Avenue. According to an accident report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Sumner lost control of the dirt bike on a gravel road and overturned. He was thrown from the bike.

Sumner was transported to Freeman Hospital, in Joplin, for treatment.
