Sectional tournament tee times announced

SMITHVILLE, Mo. -- The Nevada Tigers golf team is scheduled to compete in the Class 3, Sectional 4 Tournament Monday, on the course at Paradise Pointe Golf Complex. The tee times for the tournament were announced Thursday.

All five of Nevada's golfers are scheduled to open the tournament on the course's front nine holes.

Freshman John Quitno will be in the first foursome, teeing off at 9 a.m., on Hole No. 1. Also included in the foursome are Bailey Woods, Warrensburg, Pembroke Hill's Preston Fleenor and Chris Beaubien, St. Pius X.

Junior Andrew Quitno will play with William Esrey, Pembroke Hill, James Pedersen, Warrensburg and Ian Schneider, St. Pius X in a foursome that tees off at 9:10 a.m. Levi Palmer tees of 9:20 a.m., with Warrensburg Tiger Stuart Duncan, Pembroke Hill's Charlie Hamilton and Nick Cuezze, St. Pius X.

Patrick Ferry is set to start at 9:30 a.m., with Pembroke Hill's Zachary Cobb, Connor Tenbus, Warrensburg, and Benjamin Prothman, St. Pius X. Jacob Hammontree is included with Jack Mitchell, Pembroke Hill, Warrensburg's Brett Ballard and Jacob Lohmeyer, St. Pius X, teeing off at 9:40 a.m.

The top two teams and top 15 individual finishers in the state's four Sectional tournaments advance to the Class 3 state tournament, May 19-20, on the Fremont Hills Country Club course, in Nixa, Mo.
