Nevada man arrested on multiple charges

A 25-year-old Nevada man was arrested following an investigation by Nevada Police into several reported criminal acts.

On July 22, Nevada Police detectives arrested Zack Claypool, AKA Zack Belcher, without incident in the area of Elm and Ashland.

Claypool has been charged in several reported criminal acts that occurred over the last several weeks.

According to a press release from the department, Claypool had been successfully avoiding arrest until Nevada Police detectives received a tip from a concerned citizen.

Nevada Police personnel then located the suspect and executed the arrest warrants without incident.

Claypool is being held at the Vernon County Jail on the following charges, issued by the Vernon County Associate Circuit Court -- robbery 2nd degree, tampering with a motor vehicle (two counts), tampering with a service utility, tampering with a witness, resisting arrest by fleeing, and driving while revoked.

The arrested subject is being held without bond.
