Woman injured in Saturday wreck

Karissa Strack, 29, of Springfield, received minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident on Route E, half a mile west of Montevallo, around 1:26 a.m., Saturday.

Strack's 1996 Ford Ranger failed to negotiate a curve, ran off the left side of the road, overcorrected to run off the right side of the road, struck a ditch and overturned, according to the Highway Patrol report.

Strack was transported to Nevada Regional Medical Center.
