Connie Marie Smith Ryon

Connie Marie Smith Ryon, 70, passed away Monday, Oct. 27, 2014, at Big Spring Care Center, in Humansville, Mo.

Connie was born to Cecil and Mary Martha (Brokob) Smith, Jan. 18, 1944, at home in Little Blue, Mo.

Connie was preceded in death by her mother and father; her common law husband for more than 25 years, Harold; brother, Arnold Smith; nephews, Buddy Smith, Steven Gunder, Donnie Jack Hendricks, and Joseph Johnson; and nieces, Kristi Smith and Paula Johnson.

She is survived by her brother, Cecil "Bud" Smith (Opal); sisters, Mary Lou Johnson, Joanne Hendricks, Eileen Gunder (Rick), and Carleen Purtle (Darrell); and nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

A celebration of life service will be at the home of her sister, Eileen Gunder, 64 E. Calico Lane, Fair Grove, MO 65648, on Nov. 8, at 1 p.m.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Greenlawn Funeral Home East, Springfield, Mo.
