Connie Sue Fleener
Connie Sue Fleener, 35, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Oct. 30, 2014, in Waynesville, Mo. Connie was born Nov. 16, 1978, in Fairbanks, Ala., to Leroy C. and Glenda S. Bogart Fleener and they survive of the home.
Connie lived in many places with her family at a young age including Fort Wainwright, Ala., Aschaffenburg, Germany, Fort Benning, Ga., and Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. She attended school in Waynesville, Mo., starting 1992, and graduating from Waynesville High School Class of 1998. Connie never met a stranger and loved everyone. A good day for Connie was visiting with family and making people smile. You have never really experienced a true hug till you received one of Connie's hugs. Connie loved to play school, she enjoyed spending time visiting her family in Nevada, Mo., and playing with her puppy and reading books.
Preceding her in death are her grandparents, Eugene Curtis Fleener and Phyllis Aleen Fleener, of Nevada, and Charley Winford Bogart, of Sheldon, Mo.
In addition to her parents, survivors include her brothers and their families, Curtis and Charity Fleener, along with their children, Conner and Cordelia, of Waynesville, Mo., and Roger and Jessica Fleener, along with their children, Riley and Dyksilyn, of Columbia, S.C.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., Monday, Nov. 3, at Ferry Funeral home, in Nevada, with J. P. Williams and Steven Bogart officiating. Committal will following in Sheldon Cemetery, Sheldon, Mo.
Contributions may be made in her memory to the Epilepsy Foundation in care of Ferry Funeral Home, Nevada.
