Each year the Missouri Association for Pupil Transportation holds a poster contest and then presents an award to the creator of the best poster in each of four divisions.

This year during the M.A.P.T.'s 49th annual conference in July the association selected the poster created by 16-year-old Tanner Johnson, a student at Cedar Ridge School, as the first place winner in Division 4.

On Oct. 23, Rick Emling, M.A.P.T president, presented Johnson a certificate and a $50 gift card.

Tanner's teacher is Connie Bruce. He is the son of LaDonna Ford and James Johnson.
