Fourth-grade Tigers capture first-place at Fort Scott tourney

Margina Otter/Special to the Daily Mail/ The Nevada Tigers fourth-grade traveling basketball team captured first place at the Fort Scott basketball tournament last weekend. Nevada first defeated Fort Scott 20-10, and then dealt Girard a double-digit defeat, 30-18. In their third game, the Tigers edged Columbus 28-24, before finishing out the tournament with a 27-16 triumph over Pittsburg.
