The Nevada City Council will be certifying the results of last Tuesday's primary election during its meeting at 7 p.m., tonight, in the council chambers at the Public Safety Building, 120 S. Ash St.

Other items under consideration include bids for Walton Pool chemical and a groom mower for use at Twin Lakes Sports Complex, as well as bids for financing the purchase of five new police vehicles.

The council will also be considering a contract with APAC-Missouri Inc. for the city's transportation sales tax projects for this summer, an inter-fund loan from the special projects fund to the parks fund for the purchase of two mowers, and amending the parks department budget to account for the cost of the mowers being more than was budgeted.

Other items include a resolution authorizing the city to submit an application for possible state funding from the Missouri Highway Safety Program for assistance with traffic enforcement.

The council will also be holding the second reading of three measures: a lease agreement with Young Iron and Metal for a trailer for metal recycling; a usage agreement with The Western Missouri 9-1-1 Dispatch Center for 9-1-1 and dispatch services; and an agreement with Buildet LLC for the construction of a new sidewalk along North Spring Street.

The council is also scheduled to hear a report on water loss from the city's water system.
