Deborah Yvonne Ledbetter

Deborah Yvonne Ledbetter, 54, of Nevada, Mo., passed from this life Saturday, March 21, 2015, at Truman Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center of Lamar. She was born Feb. 9, 1961, Kansas City, Mo., the daughter of Raymond Lloyd and Wanda Yvonne (Allen) Foster, both of whom survive. On July 8, 1998, she was united in marriage to Jon Patrick Ledbetter.

In 1962, the family moved to the Colorado Springs, Colo., area where she attended school. Shortly thereafter she began employment with Kings Super, a large grocery chain in Colorado Springs. In 1990, she relocated back to Missouri, this time settling in the Nevada area to be near her parents. While living in this area she had worked at Delway, Opie's Pizza, Ramey's, and for more than 10 years was employed as a cashier at Ricketts, a job that she loved.

When time allowed she enjoyed camping, gardening, and spending as much time outdoors as possible. She and Jon also enjoyed participation in the Perma-ethos community in West Virginia when possible.

Survivors in addition to her husband and parents include her children, B.J. Phillips and wife, Rachel, of Nevada, Maria Million and husband, Justin, of Moundville, and Bryce Ledbetter and wife, Brittani, of Nevada; grandchildren, Kara, Sophia, Maddysin, Jesse, Isaiah, Kinlee, and Logan; siblings, Stewart Foster of Houston, Texas, Robert Foster and wife, Myra, of Ciudad Del Carmen, Campeche, Mexico, and Andrea Foster of Nevada; father-in-law, Pat Ledbetter of El Dorado Springs; mother-in-law Lora Ledbetter of Kansas City; and nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

A memorial service for Deborah Yvonne Ledbetter is scheduled for 10:30 a.m., Friday, April 3, at Ferry Funeral Home, in Nevada. Friends may call now and until the hour of service at Ferry Funeral Home.
