NEVC hosts gym seat fundraiser
Nevada Daily Mail
The gym at the high school at Northeast Vernon County has received an upgrade over the summer. A group of theater seats, fully padded on the seat and back, complete with cupholders, has been installed at center court for patrons. These premium seats will be available starting this month with the varsity volleyball and junior high basketball season.
Superintendent Charles Naas has announced that the seats will be available for purchase to patrons as a full year season ticket holder. The number of seats is limited to 18 for this school year. Seat licenses will be sold in an auction format beginning later this week. The seats will come with the "right" to pass the seat to a designated person should the holder be unable to attend a game. Each seat holder will receive a hot dog and soda per game.
Other NEVC merchandise will be awarded to the auction winners. A dedicated waiter from the senior class will be available to the premium seat holder section.
The home schedule includes all home games, Meet the Knights, and graduation.
