Overton, Smith, Hold, Hendren, honored for play on court

After winning 13 of their final 14 games, several Nevada Lady Tigers volleyball players were honored with individual accolades for their performances on the court during the 2015 season.

* Lexie Overton, Sr., libero: First-team All-District (Class 3, District 11), Second-team All-Region, and All-West Central Conference team.

* Megan Hold, Jr., middle blocker: All-West Central Conference team, second-team All-Region, Second-team All-district.

* Ellie Smith, Jr., setter: All-West Central Conference team, second-team All-Region, Second-team All-district.

* Mindy Hendren, Sr., middle blocker, All-West Central Conference team honorable mention.

"Each of these players have played great roles in contributing to the success of our winning season and having the opportunity to recognize their hard work," Lady Tigers head coach Ashley Thoreson said.

"(The accolades) are an added bonus to the great season we had."
