8th-grade Tigers pick up road win at Clinton

The Nevada Tigers eighth-grade basketball team bested the Clinton Cardinals 45-32 Thursday at Clinton. For Nevada, Dalton Gayman finished with a double-double, scoring 17 points while collecting 15 rebounds. Austin Bash added 18 points and Matthew Thorpe 10. The Tigers are 2-1 overall.
"It was a good win against a good team," Tigers head coach Lance Sargent said.
The Tigers B-team was edged by Clinton 20-19. Nevada's Jacob Chadd scored a team-high six points.
