Vernon County's most wanted captured in Milo

One of Vernon County's most wanted was captured Tuesday morning at a residence in Milo.

According to Vernon County Sheriff's Office officials, investigators received information that Necole L. Brown, 29, of Nevada, was taken into custody after investigators surrounded a residence in Milo having received information that Brown was inside.

Vernon County Sheriff Jason Mosher said Brown was taken into custody without incident. "We received information about Brown after someone who recognized her photo in the newspaper saw her going into the residence."

The sheriff said Brown was wanted on warrants of possession of a controlled substance, resisting arrest, stealing leased or rented property, theft/stealing, passing a bad check and multiple other misdemeanor warrants.

The sheriff said Brown is being held in the Vernon County Jail with no bond.
