2016 Vernon County office candidate filings

Seven offices plus the committee members for each of Vernon County's 20 townships and wards will be up for election this November. Filing closes on March 29 and to date, eight people have filed for office.

While Phil Couch has already announced his retirement, incumbents in five of the other offices have filed for re-election. Filing for collector/treasurer, Kylie Pritchett; northern commissioner, Neal Gerster, Steve Schlup and Cynthia Thompson; southern commissioner, Everette Wolfe; sheriff, Jason Mosher; assessor, Cherie Kaye Roberts; and public administrator, Tammy Bond.

The primary will be Aug. 2.
