Wesley Liu

Wesley Liu, 14 of Nevada passed away Friday, April 22, 2016, at Nevada Regional Medical Center. He was born Aug. 5, 2001, in Bellwood, Calif., the son of Chi Feng Liu and Min Hui Yuan.

Wesley moved to Nevada at an early age where he attended preschool and was currently in the seventh grade at Cedar Ridge State School. Wesley enjoyed swimming, singing, taking "selfies" and was all about Disney cartoon movies. His favorite movies were "Beauty and The Beast" and "Toy Story." He was a vegetarian who loved fried rice and anything green.

Wesley was preceded in death by his father and is survived by his mother, Min Hui, of the home; a brother, Justin, of the home: maternal grandfather, Shih Kuan Yuan, of Las Vegas, Nev.; maternal great-grandmother, Ting Chen Yuan, of Nevada; paternal grandparents and many other paternal and maternal relatives in Taiwan; and great-aunts, great-uncles, extended family and special friends.

Memorial services for Wesley will be Friday, April 29, at 4 p.m., in the Ferry Funeral Home Chapel, with Terry Mosher officiating. A private family graveside service will follow in the Moore Cemetery.

Due to cultural customs the family has requested no flowers. Memorials may be made to the "Cedar Ridge State School PTA" with the funeral home serving as custodian.
