Testman 5K slated for Saturday

The Testman 5K pre-events and registration will be held inside of the Nevada High School multi-purpose gym, beginning at 8:30 a.m., Saturday.

Weather permitting, the 5K is slated to begin an hour later, at 9:30 a.m. in front of Logan Field.

The 5K will begin and end at the Nevada R-5 Central Office parking lot. Donuts and coffee will be served at 8:30, with special guest speakers beginning at 8:45 a.m. The 5K is open to runners and walkers of all ages and all skill levels. Consent of parents is required for participants under 18.

Prizes will be awarded for male and female first place in three age divisions; 19+ years of age, 12-18 years of age, and 11 and under. In the event of rain, all pre-5K activities will take place in the NHS auxiliary gym. Registration forms are available throughout the community.
