Forkner gearing up for Hangtown Nationals

Austin Forkner, a 17-year-old Motocross phenom from Richards, will hit track May 21 at the Hangtown Nationals in Sacramento, Calif.

Forkner, who is racing exclusively in the Outdoor Nationals in 2016 as he preps for his 2017 Supercross debut, will be the youngest rider on the track. The Hangtown Nationals is the first outdoor event of the season. According to www.promotocross.com, the outdoor nationals are part of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship series, featuring 12 events from May to August.

MAVTV will air 12 rounds of the event live. The event can be streamed live beginning at 5 p.m. May 21 via ProMotocross.com and the NBC Sports Live Extra mobile app. NBCSN will air most of the Moto 2 races, and can also be streamed live by the above mentioned app.
