George Edward Brown, 76, of Lamar, Mo., formerly of Nevada, Mo., died Wednesday, June 8, 2016, at Truman Health Care and Rehabiliation, in Lamar.

A memorial service will be held Sunday, June 12, at 3 p.m., at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Highway 160, east of Lamar.
