Lady Cats defeat Miami

The Bronaugh Lady Wildcats picked up its second victory of the 2016 campaign, dropping Miami in a Golden Valley Vernon County Conference match Thursday night in Miami.

Miami won the first set 25-15, before Bronaugh rallied to take sets two and three 25-11 and 25-17.

With the victory, Bronaugh improves to 2-3 overall and 2-0 in GVVC-play.

"The girls took a big step tonight in playing as a team," Lady Wildcats coach Daryl Dodson said.

For Bronaugh, Katey Rider recorded a team-high 11 kills.
