Donald J. Reynolds

Donald J. Reynolds, Sr, age 86, of Sheldon, Mo. passed away on Nov. 10, 2016 at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, Mo. Donald was born on June 10, 1930 in Wentworth, Mo. to George and Florence (Cowan) Reynolds.

Donald was raised in Wentworth and worked as a plumber for a number of years in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He came back to Vernon County and went to work for Joseph L. Pohl Construction as a Road Construction Foreman for 30 plus years until his retirement. He resided in the Sheldon, Mo. area since 1968.

Donald is survived by his children, Donette Reynolds of Grove, Okla., Donald Reynolds, Jr. of Sheldon, Mo., John Reynolds and his wife Connie of Carl Junction, Mo., and Billy Reynolds of Sheldon, Mo. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, his brother Dale Reynolds and his wife Kay of Sarcoxie, Mo., and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his companion of many years Mary Price in 2012 along with three brothers and one sister, and his parents.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday Nov 15, 2016 at Ferry Funeral Home. Friends may call now until the time of service.
