Meet Nevada High School's winter athletes

Nevada High School will hold its "Meet the Players" event tonight at Wynn Gym for NHS winter sports student-athletes.

The event is slated to begin at 7 p.m., with introductory comments from Nevada High School Athletic Director John McNeley. McNeley will be followed by Samantha Short, who will introduce the NHS girls swimming team.

Following the swim team, Pam Earnest will introduce the Lady Tiger cheerleaders.

Following Earnest and the Lady Tiger cheerleaders, first-year NHS wrestling coach David Hawks will introduce the Tiger wrestlers. The final two teams to take center stage are Brent Bartlett's Lady Tiger basketball team, and Shaun Gray's Tiger hoops squad.
