Lady Tigers hit the pool at Winnetonka Invitational

The Nevada Lady Tiger swim team competed at the Winnetonka Invitational in Kansas City on Saturday, placing 12 out of 27 teams.

* 200-yard medley relay, seventh-place: Team of Makayla Haner, Peyton Claypool, Hallie Short, and Carlie McCaffree.

* 200-yard freestyle: Maggie Leisure, 21st place; Peyton Claypool, 25th place; and Aylssa Wilson, 38th place.

* 200-yard Individual Medley, Makayla Haner, 11th place; Marissa Matthews, 45th place.

* 50-yard freestyle: Carlie McCaffree, 13th place; Breana Swink, 43rd place

* 100-yard butterfly: Maggie Leisure, 19th place; Hallie Short, 33rd place.

* 100-yard freestyle: Carlie McCaffree, 16th place; Marissa Matthews, 47th place; Morgan Smith, 51st place; Noelle Lunkenheimer, 62nd place.

* 100-yard backstroke: Makayla Haner, sixth place; Morgan Smith, 45th place; Katlyn Dunfield, 54th place; Hallie Short, 55th place.

* 100-yard breaststroke: Peyton Claypool, 11th place; Emalie Bower, 47th place; Noelle Lunkenheimer, 50th place; Katlyn Dunfield, 58th place.

* 400-yard freestyle relay: Eighth-place, team of: Emalie Bower, Ashton Aador, Makayla Haner, and Carlie McCaffree.

Upcoming schedule

The Lady Tigers are next set to compete at Saturday's Monett Invitational. Nevada is then idle until Jan. 7 when it will take part in the Hillcrest Invitational; followed by a 12-team competition Jan 12 in Joplin.
