Sparks capture title at local youth basketball tournament

Nevada High School and Middle School played host to a youth basketball tournament, with 37 teams competing, grades third through sixth. The Nevada Tiger fifth-grade Sparks traveling basketball team captured first place, going 3-0, as they defeated Fort Scott in the championship game.
