Walley signs with Cottey

Anna Walley, a senior at Adrian High School, recently signed a letter-of-intent to play volleyball for the Cottey Comets. Walley, who also competes in track-and-field and basketball, was named a 2015 and '16 All-State Honorable Mention selection; Mo-Kan All-Star selection; WEMO All-Conference 2015 and '16 first-team selection; 2015 and '16 first-team All-Region selection; and '16 All-District first-team selection. In 2015, Walley was the conference champion in discus and a state qualifier. Also in '15, she received the Missouri State High School Athletic Association Sportsmanship Award. In addition, Walley has been named to the Academic All-State team four times and is a three-year member of the National Honor Society.
