Bronaugh Lady Wildcats: District Champs!

The top-seeded Bronaugh Lady Wildcats defeated second-seeded Drexel 42-38 in Friday night's Class 1 District 6 championship game in Drexel. For Bronaugh in the title game, Katey Rider finished with a team-high 13 points, Mattie Earnest, eight; Taylor Stratford, six; Riley Knapp, six and Mandy Murphy, five. The Lady 'Cats (22-5) next advance to the Class 1 State Tournament, where they face Walnut Grove (24-2) Tuesday in Webb City.
