Montrose topples Sheldon in district title game

In a matchup of the tournament's top seeds, No. 1 Montrose bested No. 2 Sheldon 48-39 in the Class 1 District 6 championship game Friday night in Drexel. Sheldon concludes its season 16-12 overall.
