Banes sworn in to office

Receiving the oath of office from Mike Buehler, Vernon County Clerk on Tuesday is Brent Banes, Vernon County's first new Treasurer/ex-officio Collector in 32 years. Banes succeeds Phil Couch and begins office on April 1. Serving with him will be Kylie Pritchett, who has served in the office for five years and Renea Schultz, who has served one year.
