Lady Tigers collect postseason hoops awards

The Nevada Lady Tigers' varsity, junior varsity, and freshman basketball teams received recognition at Wednesday night's postseason awards banquet held at Nevada High School. Freshman point guard Callie Beshore was named the team's Most Valuable Player. Freshman shooting guard Payge Dahmer was the Lady Tigers' Offensive Player of the Year, while sophomore combo guard Hailey Jackson collected Defensive Player of the Year accolades. Forward Lindsey Phebus capped an excellent season with Most Improved honors. Guard Sammy Gundy and freshman forward Teagan Charles both earned the Hustle Award.
