Nevada's Gayman, Sommer selected to All-Area team

he postseason accolades continue to roll in for Nevada Tiger basketball standouts Clay Gayman and Matthew Sommer. The duo was recently named to the 4-State Basketball Coaches Association All-Area team. In addition, Gayman was named the 4-State Basketball Coaches Association Player of the Year, as the 6-foot-6 junior forward concluded the 2016-17 season with averages of 24 points, 11 rebounds, and 3.5 blocked shots per game. Meanwhile, Sommer averaged 14 points and 5.5 assists per game as the Tigers' lead guard.
