Sommer competes in senior all-star game

Sommer, who averaged 14 points and 6.5 assists per game during his senior campaign –– showcased his skills April 23 at the Pachone Stepps Senior All-Star Game held at Fort Scott (Kan.) Community College. “He played at a high level and represented Nevada well,” said NHS head varsity basketball coach Shaun Gray. Gray said Sommer handed out a game-high nine assists. "He made several outstanding passes to set his teammates up for easy buckets," noted Gray. "He also scored two or three times attacking the basket."
