Norma June Sayre

Norma June Sayre, was born March 2, 1928, to Quay and Dessie Phipps in El Dorado Springs, went to our Father in Heaven on May 4. Norma formerly resided in Stockton and later moved to Oak Grove, Mo.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Marvin L. Sayre; her youngest son, Myron L. Sayre; and significant other, Harold Jinks Sharp. She leaves behind her children, David M. Sayre and wife, Elaine, of Lee’s Summit, Mo., daughter Theresa and husband, Jerry Reinbold, and granddaughter Megan, of Oak Grove, Mo., son Wayne Sayre of Kansas City, Mo.; sister, Neva Arlene Buck, of Richards; and her nieces and nephews.

Norma was a 1946 graduate of Nevada High School and married her husband Marvin on Sept. 12, 1946. She was devoted to her children and cared deeply for her family. The loss is greatly felt by all.

Services will be Thursday, May 11, at 1 p.m. at Bland-Brumback Funeral Home in Stockton, with a visitation at 11 a.m.
