County Road DD to be closed today

According to a release from the Missouri Department of Transportation, Vernon County Route DD between County Roads 1925 and 2175 north of Sheldon will be closed from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 10, to allow MoDOT crews to replace a deteriorating drain pipe underneath the road.

Drivers will have access to entrances and driveways on either side of the work zone, but will not be able to travel through the work zone. Drivers are urged to find alternate routes. No detour is planned. Weather and/or work scheduling conflicts could postpone the project.
