Nevada High School senior Cameron Diaz recently showcased his skillset on the gridiron, representing Nevada Tigers’ football and the United States as a member of American Football Worldwide’s ELITE football team. Diaz, a standout cornerback for Nevada, helped AFW ELITE defeat Ireland’s National 20U team 53-6. According to mericanfootballworldwide.com, Diaz had an excellent showing, coming up with an interception late in the first half, halting Team Ireland’s momentum after a big kickoff return. AFW ELITE led 21-0 at halftime. Diaz also had a 10-yard reception in the first half. In the final six minutes of the game, Diaz went from having a very good game, to an MVP-like performance, returning two interceptions for touchdowns. In addition to the game held in Blanchardstown, Ireland, Diaz spent part of his trip (April 1-9) touring other parts of the country.
