Lady 'Cats fall to Butler

The Bronaugh Lady Wildcats dropped a two-set volleyball match on Tuesday to visiting Jasper. The non-conference loss brings Bronaugh's record to 3-8 overall, as the Lady 'Cats fell by set scores of 25-8 and 25-17.

"Tonight was a good learning lesson," said Lady Wildcats head coach, Daryl Dodson. "Our girls played hard against a very good team. We moved defensively the best we have this year. I know the score does not show the effort (we gave), but when you play against teams of this caliber you have to step up your game."

Bronaugh returns to the court Tuesday, for a GVVC road match at Ballard.
