Brandon Neville Ivey
Brandon Neville Ivey, 41, of Moundville, passed away on Nov. 21. He was born Feb. 24, 1976, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Randall Ivey and Deborah Sanford.
He married Amanda Renee Lawler on July 22, 2015, in White House, Jamaica, and she resides of the home. He also leaves behind two daughters, Jordan and Jadeyn Ivey both of Columbus, Kan.
Brandon spent most of his years growing up in Columbus, Kan., with the unwavering support and guidance from Sylvia Christmas who became a surrogate mother to him. Brandon spent time as a deputy for the Cherokee County Sheriff’s Department before pursuing his academic degrees at Avila University, Pittsburg State University and the University of Kansas ultimately graduating with a Masters of Social Work and becoming a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, Nov. 25, at 1 p.m. at Ferry’s Funeral Home. Private internment will follow at a later date. The family will receive friends on Friday, Nov. 24, from 6-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
