Jerry Burgess Howard Adkins

Jerry Burgess Howard Adkins, 50, Nevada, passed away on Saturday, Jan. 13, in Nevada. Jerry was born July 3, 1967, in Washington County, Ind., to Howard and Melliodean M. (Gibbon) Adkins.

Jerry’s family loved him very much. He loved everyone and everyone was his friend. Jerry resided in Nevada most of his life.

Survivors include his siblings, Debora Smith, Newburg, Mo., Daniel Adkins, Springfield, Mo., Ricky Adkins and his wife Violet, Topeka, Kan., Tony Adkins, Rolla, Mo., Ronnie, Salem, Ind., Angela Browning, Beckley, W.Va., Linda Enlow, Rolla, Mo., Billy Adkins, Cincinnati, Ohio; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Teresa Adkins; four brothers, James, Dennis, Larry and Terry Adkins.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 22, at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada with Pastor Daniel Adkins officiating.
