Polly was born at home Dec. 29, 1928, near the town of Moscow, Kan. She graduated Sterling High School in 1947 and married the wonderful Richard Dale Bradford, May 18, 1947. She gave birth to their precious daughter Pamela in 1951. Polly was a faithful servant of The Lord and a longtime member of the Sterling Methodist Church. She operated her beauty shop — Kut ‘n Kurl — for 50 years. She was a life member of the American Legion Auxiliary Post No. 128. Polly cherished time with family and friends; was a lover of gardening, traveling and fishing. She really knew how to have a good time. Our lives are all forever made better for knowing her. A celebration of her life will be held in the spring at the Sterling Lake at a later date. Memorials in her honor may be made to the Sterling American Legion Auxiliary, the Sterling Public Library or the Sterling First United Methodist Church.
