The Nevada Tiger freshman basketball team kicked off its season on a high-note, besting host El Dorado Springs 42-35 Tuesday evening. The 1-0 Tigers were led by Evan Rea, who dropped in a game-high 17 points, while Owen Swearingen chipped in 12, Caleb Egarta, 7; Nathan Johnson, four; and Jerimia Collins, two.
