Saturday Candy Cane Hunt well-attended

The Grinch convinced a young Who to pose for a picture with him during the Parks and Recreation Candy Cane Hunt. Approximately 300 children participated in the hunt, visited Santa and despite the cold chill and damp conditions on Saturday, about 300 children and parents descended on Radio Springs Park to hunt for candy canes, meet with Santa and see the Grinch up close and personal. The candy canes were hidden by the Parks and Recreation Department and participants left with their bags full. Santa distributed larger candy canes to those who came to visit with him.
