Lady Tigers place fourth at Carthage swim meet

Friday, December 14, 2018

Despite not being at full strength, the Nevada Lady Tiger swim team produced a fourth-place finish at the eight-school Carthage swim duals, Dec. 11.

“Once again, I had seven girls missing,” said Nevada coach Samantha Short. “I have yet to have a full swim team at a meet. Hopefully, after Christmas, things will slow down. We did have several girls that dropped time again, so we are excited about that.”

Monett emerged with the team title, while host Carthage and Joplin rounded out the top three.
