With the 2019-20 season looming just over the horizon, the Nevada High School Tiger and Lady Tiger basketball teams opened practice this week. Both programs are coming off superb seasons, and return the bulk of their rosters.

Looking to repeat as champions of the season-opening event, the Lady Tigers kick off their campaign at the Freeman Sports Medicine Carl Junction Classic (Dec. 2-6). The Nevada High boys, meanwhile, open their slate Dec. 6, with a Big 8 Conference cross-division home clash at Wynn Gym against the visiting Mount Vernon Mountaineers.
