Franklin Delano Drummond
Franklin Delano Drummond, 77, Nevada, Mo., passed away on Monday, Sept. 14, 2020, at Moore-Few Care Center, in Nevada, following a lengthy illness. Frank was born Dec. 8, 1942, in Yuba City, Calif., to Bert L. and Bess (Morgan) Drummond. He was united in marriage to Joyce Ann Key on Nov. 30, 1962, in Nevada, and she survives.
Frank came to Horton at a young age. He was raised in Horton and graduated from Metz High School Class of 1960. Frank worked for Nevada State Hospital as a recreation aide for more than 20 years, and at Pathways in Nevada for several years. He also farmed and raised cattle most of his life.
In addition to his wife, Joyce, he is survived by a son, Lanny Drummond Lakin, Kan.; two grandchildren, Allison Drummond, Joplin, Mo., and Paige Bordewick and her husband, Luke, Joplin, Mo.; and two sisters, Fern Aston and Pansy Hancock, both of California. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Claude and Alvin Drummond, all who resided in California.
