Lady Tiger netters fall to Mountaineers

Nevada High's Lady Tiger tennis squad dropped a Big 8 Conference cross-division road-match to the Mount Vernon Mountaineers on Thursday.

The loss moves Nevada to 0-5 overall, and 0-3 in Big 8 Conference-play.

The Lady Tigers dropped all six of their singles matches, and two of three doubles matches. Their lone victory was notched by their No. 1 doubles team — Eden Fischer and Alissa Stutesman, as the duo prevailed over Mt. Vernon's Brooke Loftus/Allison Schubert tandem — 8-8 (7-3).
