Tanner Chadwick Duncan
Tanner Chadwick Duncan, 27, of Nevada, Mo., went to be with his Lord on Thursday, Sept. 17, 2020. Tanner was born on May 3, 1993, in Nevada. Tanner was a skilled mechanic and could fix anything. He loved working with cattle and caring for his farm and running his semi-trucks. He loved his family and friends, he worked hard and enjoyed taking out his RV or boat, and hunting with his dad and brothers. He enjoyed the simple things in life, loved the Lord, the haying, and just hanging out with his friends. He was loved by everyone who knew him and will be so missed by us all.
Left to mourn his passing are his father, Chadd Duncan and Angie Morrison, Walker, Mo.; his mother, Donis Dasent and Andre, Nevada; two brothers, Jacob Duncan and his wife Ashlee, Nevada, and Jace Duncan, Walker, Mo.; grandparents, Pat Vaughn, Nevada and Don and Vernille Cubbage, of Nevada; paternal aunts and uncles, Steve Sipe and his wife, Becky, Mikki Gardner, Doug Duncan, Jana Vaughn, and DJ Vaughn; maternal aunts, Sheila Bryson and her husband, Eric and Davola Garrett and her husband, Tony. Tanner was preceded in death by his aunt, Sherri Cubbage Prewitt; and great grandparents, Ermon and Margaret Cubbage.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 22, at the First Baptist Church in Nevada with Pastor Mark Mitchell officiating. Interment will follow in Berea Cemetery, Ketterman, Mo. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Monday, at Ferry Funeral Home in Nevada.
In lieu of flowers those who wish may contribute in Tanner’s memory to the Elk’s Christmas Basket Fund in care of Ferry Funeral Home.
