Lady Tigers edged in Crossover Showdown

Wrapping their regular-season Thursday evening, the Nevada Lady Tiger volleyball team fell in three sets to host Logan-Rogersville.
Dubbed the Big 8 Conference Crossover Showdown, the matchup pitted the No. 4 seeds from the East and West divisions.
Logan Rogersville edged Nevada in the first set, 25-22. They then seized control of the match, with a decisive 25-14 second-set victory. The third-set was played much tighter, with Logan-Rogersville prevailing, 25-23.
Nevada junior setter Jade Feller concluded with a team-high 14 assists, to go along with a pair of blocks.
Sophomore middle hitter Trinity Gayman chipped in 10 kills, two aces, and two blocks — while junior libero Grace Barnes tallied 11 digs.
With the tough loss, Nevada wrapped it's regular-season with an 8-17 record.
In preliminary action Thursday, the Lady Tiger junior varsity team was upended by Logan-Rogersville in two sets — 16-25, 16-25, finishing out the season at 16-14 overall.
In the C-team clash, Nevada was bested in a pair sets — 5-25, 23-25, finishing out their campaign 15-8-3 overall.
