Eldo baseball edges out NHS

In a battle between two 15-win teams, El Dorado Springs escaped with no. 16 thanks to a 6-5 victory over Nevada High School Friday afternoon on its home baseball diamond.

After some defensive miscues by the Tigers (15-3) allowed the Bulldogs (16-3) to score three unearned runs, NHS still had a chance in the top of the seventh inning with the tying run on third base — but was unable to score it.
