Trio of Cottey spikers honored by AVCA

The Cottey College volleyball team's season may be over, but the Comets are still netting awards after their first trip to the NAIA National Tournament.

This week, the American Volleyball Coaches Association named three players on Cottey's squad to its North Central All-Region Team.

Junior outside hitter and A.I.I. Conference player of the year Lily Miller was named to the AVCA's regional first team, while teammates Jocelyn Tidwell and Emily Killion (both of whom also earned all-A.I.I. honors, along with Miller, MacKenzie Green, and Briannah Quick) made the Honorable Mention list.
